150 new cars from 12 different brands will be on display at one of Ireland’s largest motor shows which takes place at Cilin Hill this weekend.

150 new cars from 12 different brands will be on display at one of Ireland’s largest motor shows which takes place at Cilin Hill this weekend.

The show will be launched by Peuguot ambassador Amanda Brunker at 7.30pm on Friday evening.

The event, which is now in it’s fourth year runs from Friday (November 22) until Sunday (November 24) and is expected to attract in the region of 25,000 visitors giving a great boost to the local economy.

Chairperson of the Kilkenny Society of the Irish Motor Industry Kevin Morrissey said that the event involved all the main dealers in the city.

“It is the only big indoor show outside of Dublin. It is going from strength to strength ad is getting bigger every year,

There is huge interest in the show and people travel from all over Leinster to see what is on offer.

“We are delighted to have Amanda Brunker to open the weekend and we are expecting in the region of 25,000 visitors to pass through the doors over the three days. We will have a huge range of cars on display and people are welcome to come along and have a look and see what is on offer,” said Mr Morrissey.

The show will be open to the public from 2pm to 9pm on Friday, 10am to 6pm on Saturday and 12pm to 5pm on Sunday.

All are welcome and admission is free.
