In recognition of her hard work and commitment to her business as a Jamie at Home Consultant, Susan Walsh from Mullinavat, Co.Kilkenny was personally invited by Jamie Oliver to dine at his newest and most talked about restaurant, Barbecoa in London.

Susan who manages a team of Jamie at Home’s Consultants said, “I feel honoured to be personally invited to one of Jamie’s newest restaurants and to celebrate my achievements with the Jamie at Home team. It was great meeting Gennaro [Contaldo]. Jamie has so much passion and enthusiasm and meeting the man that inspired him on his journey has certainly given me a real motivation for driving my business forward.”

With spectacular views of St. Pauls Cathedral, the restaurant was exclusively booked out for Susan and 150 other Jamie at Home Consultants who got to enjoy a unique taste experience from the menu devised by Jamie and his partner Adam Perry Lang, created using wood and fire-based natural cooking methods from around the world. With Jamie busy filming his next Food Revolution series in America, he sent along his mentor and regular on BBC’s Saturday Kitchem Gennaro Contaldo to dine with the Consultants.

As well as his obvious passion for food, Jamie loves to get people together in the home for a relaxed and fun approach to eating and entertaining. This is what inspired him to work with artisans and designers from around the globe to develop the exclusive JME Homeware collection. To date, Jamie has offered more than 3,800 people nationwide the opportunity to work in partnership with him. By holding just two parties a week (that’s 6 hours work) they could earn around £520 per month. With finances being pushed to the limit in many households, Jamie’s generous business proposition has appealed to both those who are looking for flexible working options around the children, and also those people who already have full-time careers but need to top up their income. The flexibility of holding parties in the day or in the evening together with low start-up costs, no training or experience required and the ability to start earning an income instantly, make it a very attractive proposition.
