FOUR people were rushed to hospital following a three car collision on the M9 motorway on Sunday evening.
Emergency services, including fire brigades from Thomastown and Waterford attended the crash which took place close on the Knocktopher side of the Mullinavat exit. The road was closed for a short time to allow for a garda technical examination to take place.
Meanwhile on Tuesday evening emergency services were called to the scene of an accident on the M8 north of the Urlingford junction. One woman received treatment at the scene and was subsequently taken to hospital.
