THE Kilkenny City Macra Black Tie Ball will be held at the Ormonde Hotel on February 9.
This is a prime opportunity for singles and couples (non Macra members welcome also) to celebrate Valentines weekend with a difference and a great night is guaranteed. This ball was a resounding success last year with people travelling from all over the country and record numbers in attendance. The night will kick off at 7.30pm with a complimentary cocktail reception in the hotel lobby followed by a scrumptious four course meal. The dancing will then commence to the infamous Bottle Brothers until the late hours. There will be a raffle on the night for some superb door prizes, the top prize being a break away for two at a premier four star hotel.
The tickets costing a recession-busting €35 can be purchased by contacting Deirdre Brennan 087 9686356, Mark Comerford 086 3842200 or Mary Brennan on 087 7634524. Tickets should be purchased in advance of the night and are in high demand so please get your orders in early. All those who purchase tickets prior to 18 January 2013 will be entered into a draw for Bed and Breakfast for two in the Ormonde Hotel on the night of the ball. Further information can be obtained on the Kilkenny City Macra Facebook site see facebook.com/macra.kilkennycity for details or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
