Mary Hilda Cavanagh has been elected on the fourth count of the Castlecomer Electoral Area.

Her surplus of 23 votes will now be transferred, plus the votes of the eliminated Ger Ferris - 531.

Therere are four candidates on over 1,000 votes and the quota is 1,478 - Pat Fitzpatrick (1,230), Pat Millea (1,168), Michael McCarthy (1,069) all Fianna Faill and Sinn Fein’s Cathriona Redmond (1,023).
