Firefighters to ‘climb Everest’ again

Kilkenny Firefighters will hold their Annual Everest Challenge Charity Event on May 5 at The Left Bank in Kilkenny starting at 11am – climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest on the day.

Kilkenny Firefighters will hold their Annual Everest Challenge Charity Event on May 5 at The Left Bank in Kilkenny starting at 11am – climbing the equivalent height of Mount Everest on the day.

The charity to benefit this year will be the “Danema” group for Crumlin Children’s Hospital. The Danema group has been fundraising for Crumlin Children’s hospital for over 14 years and to date have donated in the region of €200,000 to the hospital.

All are asked to come out and support this cause. There will be lots of novelties at the event, including the Liam McCarthy Cup.
