A cheque was presented recently by a local bank representative at a Macra county executive meetings in recognition of the high level of voluntary participation of members in a variety of activities at club, county and national level.

The AIB representative also encouraged all those present at the meetings to continue to develop their club’s programme of activities for members and stated that the ‘AIB Club of the Year Competition’, which awards the most dynamic and active clubs in the country, would shortly be open for entries for 2013.

Alan Jagoe, Macra National President, extended his thanks to AIB for their continued support of Macra clubs across the country.

“The AIB club of the year competition recognises excellence in our Macra clubs. The competition gets club members active in planning and executing development strategies for clubs at local level,” he said.
