Aut Even has come on board to support The Kilkenny Arts Festival, which takes place from August 10-19 as a partner in the internationally acclaimed, cultural extravaganza.

Now in its 39th year, the festival attracts visitors globally with more than 25,000 people expected for the annual cultural extravaganza, featuring the very best in Irish and international visual art, classical music, theatre and dance, jazz, world and traditional Irish music, literature, film, craft and children’s events.

Speaking at the announcement Annette Jolly, CEO for Aut Even said; “The Kilkenny Arts Festival is a hugely important and successful cultural and tourism event in Kilkenny. The tremendous work that has been done in Kilkenny over the years has resulted in Kilkenny Arts Festival being a stand out event on the summer calendar, and Aut Even are very happy to be associated with the festival. With funding cuts happening across the board we are delighted to be able to support our local arts festival, especially at a time when the current economic climate means many local and community events are being cancelled due to lack of funding. Aut Even prides itself in our commitment to providing the highest quality in patient care, similarly to Kilkenny Arts Festival, which prides itself in producing a unique cultural experience that both national and international audiences alike can look forward to each year.”

Also commenting Rosemary Collier, CEO, Kilkenny Arts Festival said; “Due to funding cuts over the last number of years, it has been increasing difficult to maintain and enhance the calibre of events the Kilkenny Arts Festival is renowned for. Local support is vital for the festival, now more than ever, to ensure that this standard is maintained each year. This generous financial support from Aut Even will genuinely make a difference, in helping the festival to bridge the gap and help us to continue to bring audiences a festival they know and love, now and for years to come.” For full line up, performance clips and online ticket purchasing visit www.kilkennyarts.ie
