Mount Juliet Run to go ahead despite some storm damage

Organisers of the Run Mount Juliet event have had to postpone the three-kilometre race scheduled for 10am tomorrow, however, the other races will go ahead as planned.

Organisers of the Run Mount Juliet event have had to postpone the three-kilometre race scheduled for 10am tomorrow, however, the other races will go ahead as planned.

The Mount Juliet Estate in Thomastown was hit hard by Wednesday’s storm, with over 100 trees brought down, including 30 very large ones. Most of the estate is now clear of debris, however, there is also some local flooding.

The three-kilometre will now take place at a later date, tbc. The half marathon begins at 11am, while the 10km starts at 11.15.
