Kilkenny celebrates Patrick's Day in style

The crowds turned out for the annual St Patricks Day Parades in Kilkenny, Graignamanagh, and Urlingford.

And this year there was an addition to the list, with the people of Inistioge really wearing the green and doing it in style.

Caroline Schofield took this picture of the Kilkenny parade which features the 5-6 womens project - if any other readers on-line have pictures they would like to send in please do so to editor@kilkennypeople.ie.

In next week's Kilkenny People, our local photographers Michael Brophy, Eoin Hennessy and Charlie Maher bring you great images of our national celebration.
