Two men found dead in suspicious circumstances

TWO men have been found dead at neighbouring farms near Bagenalstown in Co Carlow.

The body of a man in his seventies was found at a farmhouse at Ballycormack near Bagenalstown at 4am this morning. It is believed that he died from gunshot wounds. A number of hours later the body of a second man was found in a building in a nearby farm.

A full forensic and technical examination is currently taking place.
