Walking tours now free in August

PAT Tynan of Tynans Walking Tours in Kilkenny is to give his popular walking tours of our medieval city free of charge in August.

Mayor Martin Brett has confirmed that Mr Tynan, starting on Monday August 9 and for every Monday throughout August, will give locals and visitors his free walking tour of the Marble City.

“With 73% of Irish people holidaying at home this year, it’s important that we do all we can to attract visitors,” said the City Mayor.

The tours start at 2pm and run until 4pm from the tourist office on Rose Inn Street.
