Young Ireland's Lotto continues to rise - w/e 27.03.09

GOWRAN THE lotto jackpot for Young Ireland's hurling club has now reached f9,150.

A huge prize is waiting to be won for just f2 per ticket. Buy your ticket in any local outlet and be in with a chance to win. There was no winner of last week's jackpot. The numbers drawn were: 2, 4, 9, and 22. The 5 X f35 winners were Mary McEvoy, Steffi Fitzgerald, Dick Carroll, Mary Bolger and Sean Kehoe.

YOUNG IRELAND'S CAMOGIE CLUB – The camogie club is holding a table quiz in Loughlin's Lounge on March 27 at 9pm. A table of four costs f20 and a juvenile table is f10. All support for this fundraiser is very welcome.

BINGO – Every Thursday night the parish bingo takes place in the parish hall. This is the 16th year of the bingo and it continues to provide valuable revenue for the parish. The jackpot currently stands at f1,400 in 44 calls.

There are Easter egg side prizes at present and there is a monster Easter egg raffle. Come along and play on Thursday evenings at 8.30pm.

YOUNG IRELAND'S HURLING CLUB – A meeting to organise the coaching for the boys and girls under 11 will be held in the dressing rooms on March 25 at 8.30pm.

All parents are welcome to attend. If you would like to be involved but cannot attend the meeting please ring 087-6406411.

Club membership fees are now due and early payment would be appreciated.

CONFIRMATION – On the evening of March 25 the next group meeting of the boys and girls preparing for Confirmation with their two leaders will take place. Parents of the children are invited as always to come at 8.50pm to join in the short prayer service.

PARISH DRAW – The winners in the draw of March 19 were Gillian Farrell, Pat Fowler, Martin Farrell and David Kirwan. Toddy Farrell and Jim McCarthy were the promoters for these lucky winners.
