As part of the Bealtaine festival during the month of May St. Columba’s Hospital, Thomastown are hosting an Art Exhibition and Tea Dance along with vintage cars, tractors and machinery to remind us of our younger days, dancing to show off our talents, and sharing of old skills with school kids. Remember to keep the morning of May 15th to attend the Kilkenny Older People’s Forum Bi-Annual meeting in the Ormonde Hotel where your views, interests and contributions are important. There will be tea and coffee from 10am, stands for you to browse and a number of interesting speakers. Come along and help make a difference to the county you live in.

The Care & Repair programme offers a free service that carries out minor home repair jobs or a phone contact service. If you are interested in availing of this service or would like to volunteer, please go along to the ‘Care & Repair’ information session this Thursday 2nd May at 11am in the Droichead Family Resource Centre, Callan.
