Seniors all set for Sunday

THIS year’s Dan O’Neill Seniors Cup competition will be held on Sunday. First tee off in the event is at 9.30am.

All members over the age of 55 are eligible to play in the competition, which will be a single stableford. The timesheet is now in operation and members can book through the golf shop.

A draw for tee times will be made on Friday.

RUMBLE - This year’s Rumble for Crumlin will be held on Sunday, July 17. The competition will be a three-person rumble and is open to teams of any combination.

The winning team will represent Mountain View GC in the Leinster final, which will be held in Hermitage Golf club, Lucan on Thursday, August 25.

CHANGE - Owing to a clash with the Leinster hurling final, the Captain’s Prize (qualifying round) has been changed to Sunday, July 10.

HANDICAP - The annual handicap review was held at Mountain View last week. This is a yearly process where all golf clubs have their handicaps, systems and process audited by the GUI. The club fully passed the audit in accordance with the CONGU Handicapping System 2008-2011.
