A CLEAN sweep saw Eddie Moloney take top honours at the final round of the Premier Series of show-jumping.
The Kilkenny rider provided the crowds at the Dublin South County Show with a thrilling finale to the series as he won the title with John McDonald’s Chatsworth Dan.
Going into the final round Moloney trailed Peter Smyth by two points, but gained an advantage when his rival failed to make the jump-off after faulting on all three of his mounts.
With the honours in his grasp, Moloney made no mistake. Aboard Chatsworth Dan the duo surged clear to win the title. They recorded a jump-of time of 51.43 while Chatsworth Dan made it a double for owner McDonald by picking up the Leading Horse prize.
Winning the class saw Moloney add a second Premier Series title to his name, having first won the title in 2009.
