All the children were delighted to have achieved their respective grades in the tests after months of hard training.

Chief Instructor for the Budo Martial Arts Centre, Kilkenny, Sesnei Shortall congratulated all concerned and said he delighted that karate was proving to be such a big hit with the youngsters of Kilkenny.

He added that while the club ensures that all its junior members keep up their training routines, they also incorporate plenty of fun and games in to the training to keep a healthy balance.

All the ‘Kilkenny Karate Kids’ are now looking forward to returning to training after the Christmas break and preparing for the upcoming club championships which will be held shortly.
