The late Maggie Morrissey (née Ryan)

The death has occurred of Maggie Morrissey (née Ryan), Closgregg, Thomastown, Kilkenny.

Formerly of Ballycrinegan, St Mullins. Maggie died peacefully on Saturday,17 December, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Maggie is predeceased by her brothers, Bishop Laurence and Jim RIP.

Sadly missed by her devoted husband, John; daughter, Bridget; Sons, Michael, Seán and Gerry; brothers, Pat and Mick; son-in-law, Paul; daughters-in-law, Breda, Majella and Lorraine; grand children, niece, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home from 2 pm on Monday with rosary at 7.30 pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, to arrive for 11 am Requiem Mass followed by interment in St Mary's New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.

The late Sr. Gertrude (Sr. Oliver) Byrne

The death has occurred of Sr. Gertrude (Sr. Oliver) Byrne, Presentation Convent, Parnell Street, Kilkenny City.

Peacefully, in her 101st year. Deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Elizabeth, nieces Gertrude, Margaret, Breda and Angela, nephew Eugene, nephews-in-law, grandnieces, her Presentation Community, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Convent Chapel from 3p.m. on Monday with Funeral Prayers at 5.30p.m. followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Funeral on Tuesday after 11a.m. Requiem Mass to St. Kieran's Cemetery.

The late (Paddy) McDonald,

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) McDonald, Ballinagoth, Inistioge, Kilkenny.

Patrick (Paddy). Sadly missed by his loving wife Rose, his daughter Mary and son Jude and brother Seamus, nephew, niece, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence tomorrow, Sunday, 18th Dec, from 2 o' clock with prayers at 5.30pm. Removal at 11.30am on Monday to Clodiagh Church for 12 noon funeral mass with burial afterwards in Cappagh Cemetery, Inistioge. House private Monday morning please.

The late Seán Ryan

The death has occurred of Seán Ryan Bonnybrook House, Pleberstown, Thomastown, Kilkenny.

Seán, aged 93 years, died on Saturday, 17th December 2016.

Beloved husband of Josephine; dear father to Eileen, Angela, Redmond, Maria, Seánie, Imelda and the late Percy RIP. Fondly remembered by his loving sisters Peg and Maura; remembered with affection by his sons in law and daughters in law, his twenty five grandchildren and his nine great grandchildren.

Reposing at his home, Bonnybrook House, Pleberstown, Thomastown on Sunday, 18th December, from 2 pm with Rosary at 7 pm. Requiem Mass at 11 am on Monday, 19th December, at the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown followed by interment in St Mary's New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.

 

The late Frank Ashe

The death has occurred of Frank Ashe, Kilree Street, Bagenalstown, Carlow / Inistioge, Kilkenny.

And formerly of Kilcross, Inistioge, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully in St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny. Beloved husband of Phyllis and devoted father of Vallerie, son in law John, Cherished grandchildren Grace and Rose, deeply regretted by his sister Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing in Somers Funeral Home, Bagenalstown on Saturday from 2.oc to 7.oc. Funeral Service on Sunday in St. Mary's Church Bagenalstown at 1.oc, followed by burial in Inistioge Churchyard Co. Kilkenny.

Tipperary) 15th December 2016, peacefully, at St. Luke's Hospital, John, beloved husband of Bee and much loved father of Paul, Siobháin and Seán, sadly missed by his wife and family, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
