THE CHANCE to grab some Summer silverware is there for Ronnie Grace and the Kilkenny & District League’s under-12 team.

The Kittens will be off to Bunclody this weekend for an inter-league tournament. The action begins with a game against Waterford at 12 noon on Saturday, followed by a meeting with Wexford at 4pm. The team will play the last of their group games on Sunday, when they take on Carlow.

“We are really looking forward to the competition,” Grace told the ’People. “These lads have been working hard since September and have come an awful lot since we began training together.”

The players will hold their final training session tomorrow (Thursday) at 5.15pm in Evergreen Park. The team will meet on Saturday at 9.30am at the Watershed, Scanlon Park.
