Erin's Own battle back for injury time draw

Conor Fogarty was star man for Erin's Own

A point from a free by Martin Boran nearing the 62nd minute earned Erin's Own (Castlecomer) a battling draw with the Rower-Inistioge in the senior hurling league in Palmerstown.
The game looked to be there for the winning by the North Kilkenny side when Stephen Daly shot his second goal in the 52nd minute to edge them 2-9 to 0-13 in front.
However, the Rower roared back to parity, and they got into a match winning position when Ciaran Ryan pointed them in front in the 59th minute.
However, Boran saved Erin's Own in the end of what was a hard fought affair.
There was little or nothing between the teams throughout the first half, when the Rower were backed by the breeze. The Rower led at half-time by 0-9 to 1-5.
