KILKENNY players experienced success and failure on the handball front at the weekend in juvenile and adult games. The home crowd couldn’t spur Paddy Reilly or Mick Dalton to victory on Saturday in O’Loughlin’s when both were well beaten.

KILKENNY players experienced success and failure on the handball front at the weekend in juvenile and adult games. The home crowd couldn’t spur Paddy Reilly or Mick Dalton to victory on Saturday in O’Loughlin’s when both were well beaten.

Brendan Burke came up short against John Fercombe, while Billy Bourke progressed to another final. Mary Phelan and Stephen Barcoe lost to Limerick opposition while Rachel Hogan overcame a tough battle to win two one. Eamonn Purcell also fell in the semi-finals.
