It was the second time that the centre ran the course, and it is due to run again in March.

“Time out for Women” is a taster programme on informational and practical topics including calligraphy, woodwork for beginners, financial advice (a workshop run by MABS), Christmas flower arranging, stress management (relaxation), job search (a workshop run by the VEC), diet (run by the Health Promotion Unit), pilates, fitness and computers.

This programme ran two days per week over 10 weeks, on Wednesday and Thursday mornings in the school term, starting in October. The cost of the course was €50 per participant.
