The Piltown Community Enterprise has been involved in job creation since it was founded in 1988.
In the late 1980's the Piltown Enterprise Centre led to 45 sustainable jobs, which emanated from local community projects.
The group also renovated an old Creamery which opened last year and now houses three incubation units which employ ten people.
The board expanded last year and now has 17 members - all of whom are volunteers.
At present the board is actively involved in fundraised and are in the process of renovating a derelict site in the village.
Piltown Community Enterprise not only focus on supporting start-up businesses within the community, but also engage with all businesses, both start-up and developing, in the parish.
