Minors continue winning ways

Kilmanagh win-St.Martins travelled Kilmanagh to take on Graigue-Ballycallan in a Byrne cup game that was cancelled last week due to the weather and came away with a win. Both sides started slowly but  the game  improved and turned into good contest . Martins had a narrow lead at the break 1-8 to 0-9, the goal was a deflected to the net  by John Maher after a long delivery from midfield by John Mulhall. The second half was tit for tat with Martins finisging the stronger , final score1-15 to 0-14.

U10 Hurling-St. Martin’s u-10 panel travelled to Conahy last saturday morning to participate in the Kevin Bergin Memorial Tournament. They did very well to come out on top of their group which consisted of Cloneen, Conahy and Galmoy. They then went on to contest the final against O’Loughlin’s. After a hard fought and high quality final theywere most unlucky to finish two points behind. Well done to everyone on a great morning’s hurling.
