The ambitious project spearheaded by Ballyragget Development Association where all of the overhead power lines and services on the Square would be ducted underground is included in the proposals. Under Measure 322 of the Village Renewal and Development the funding is allocated from 3 sources Kilkenny Leader Partnership 75% ; Kilkenny County Council 20% ; and a Local Contribution from a Community Group of 5%.
