Stoneyford: Celebrating 25 years of Kingsriver Community

Birthday Bash- The birthday bash celebrating 25 years of Kingsriver Community existence was a resounding success. Adi Roche’s opening address was inspiring and her theme of “Hope” and her enthusiasm got the celebrations of to a wonderful start. This was followed by the placement of fifty bronze nails into a large Redwood tree trunk( sculptured by Saturio Alonso). The handles of the nails were carved in wax by the Kingsriver Special needs people, volunteers, staff and friends prior to their casting. The wood sculptures and craft items on display were fantastic. The entertainment which followed was second to none.
