UNDER 16s IN LEAGUE FINAL - The very best of luck to the O’Loughlin Gaels Under 16 Roinn C team who play the league final against James Stephens on Saturday 17th November at 1.30pm in Jenkinstown. They will hope to reverse a six point defeat by the same opposition in the championship final way back in September. The Under 16 team who play in Roinn A lost out to Dicksboro in the semi final of the League last Saturday in St. John’s Park. Credit to both teams who gave 210 minutes of top class action to the fine attendances over three games. The home side who won the championship encounter by 9 points back in August, it has to be said, were short a few of their top performers and looked a little “ring rusty” having no competitive match since September 8th. But it was the ‘Boro who won the day in this encounter finishing much stronger to win by five points. Well done to the O’Loughlin Gaels under 16 panel of whom a great number are under age again next year. The management will leave no stone unturned in their quest for championship honours in 2013.
