Badminton continues at 8pm every Wednesday night in the Watershed; county soccer blitz at 7.30pm on Friday, January 18 in St Canice’s Hall; county ice-skating night Sunday, January 20 meeting at Cillin Hill at 6.45pm;

county interviews for Queen of the Land, Mr Personality, Miss Blue Jeans and Miss Macra and County Question time finals take place in the Village Inn on January 25 at 8pm.

The county cinema outing on Tuesday night, January 29 at Kilkenny Omniplex with the film and meeting time to be confirmed; Mullinavat Vegas night fundraiser, Rod Iron Mullinavat commending at 8pm on Friday, February 1;

the County Macra executive meeting takes place the Orchard Bar, Kilkenny at 8.30pm on Tuesday, February 5. All are welcome.

Macra Intercounty Hurling and Camogie Competition takes place at Clara hurling pitch on Saturday, February 9. Sign in at 10.30am.

The Kilkenny City Blacktie Ball takes place in the Ormonde Hotel on Saturday, February 9 starting with a cocktail reception at 7.30pm. This will be followed by a four-course meal and dancing to band and DJ. Tickets cost €35. Please contact Mary Brennan at 087-7634524 to purchase tickets.
