Ballyragget - Special Olympics Bag-pack

THE organisers of last weekend’s bag pack in Super Valu in aid of Special Olympics would like to thank all those whose contributions made it a huge success. The management and staff of Super Valu were, as usual, supportive, co-operative and pleasant. The packers/collectors who responded to the request for help juggled already busy lives to fill a slot at the tills. The shoppers were friendly and extremely generous, making the whole thing worthwhile. The amount collected came to in excess of €1,800. In addition we would like to thank the credit Union for help with the counting of the contributions. Special Olympics greatly appreciate the input of everyone involved.
