Hurling - The U-14’s hurlers took on Lisdowney in the Semi Final of the Hurling League in Kilmanagh last Monday night week. Tullaroan playing well in the first half, went in at the break with a point ahead. Half time score: Tullaroan 1-5 Lisdowney 2-1. Lisdowney upped their performance in the second half and ran out winners in the end. Final Score: Lisdoweny 4-11 Tullaroan 3-8.

Cemetery Mass - Mass will be celebrated in the Tullaroan Cemetery on Wednesday 15th August at 7pm, (weather permitting). You are asked to bring your own seats, as none will be supplied. Care should be taken at all times in the Cemetery especially with children.
U-16 hurling- Tullaroan returned to Kilmanagh on Thursday night where the U-16s were in action against Galmoy/Windgap in the Championship. John Walton opened the scoring with a great clearance from D Doheny. Shane Walsh goaled in the 10th minute with a great pass from Tommy Walsh. In the 14th minute the score of the game came when Jim Moore doubled on a high ball and sent it over the bar. From here to the break Tullaroan were always in control. Half time: Tullaroan 2-09 Galmoy/Windgap 0-4. Tullaroan continued to apply the pressure in the second half with goals on the 33rd, 46th and 54th minute from Bill Cuddihy, Shane Walsh and John Walton. Tullaroan finished up deserved winners on a score line of 5-14 to Galmoy/Windgap 0-7. Pretty Wedding - On Thursday last in St. Mary’s Cathedral, Kilkenny the marriage of Brian Dillon, Ardabawn, Tullaroan and his partner Lorraine Clancy from Kilkenny city took place. Lorraine looked stunning in an ivory silk with pearl detail dress and their daughter Ava who was flower girl wore ivory and carried a basked of roses.The bridesmaids Claire Clancy, Lisa Collins and Cathriona Drennan wore fuchsia pink dresses. The best man was Michael Maher friend of Brians and groomsmen David and Robbie Dillon brothers of the groom.
Fr. Brendan Comerford who married the couple and gave a very meaningful sermon is a cousin of Brian’s mother.
Paddy Cleere played the beautiful music in the Chuch and Linda Sweeney sang.
The wedding reception was held in Langton House Hotel, Kilkenny.
The Hoolie in the Hills - The Tullaroan development committee held a very successful ‘Hoolie in the Hills’ at the Tullaroan sports grounds on Sunday last. Music was by the ‘Zoots’ and a wonderful night was had by all.
Choir Practice - Choir practice for the Cemetery Mass will be held on August 9th at 7pm. All members are invited to attend.
