Kilmacow: Nuns leave after 25 years of great service at Rosedale

Medical Missionaries of Mary - The Medical Missionaries of Mary will leave Rosedale on Sunday next, 21st October after 25 ears of service to Kilmacow. A special Mass will be celebrated at 11.00am followed by refreshments in the Community Centre as an acknowledgement of their great contribution to the life of the local community. Many of the sisters who served previously in Rosedale will return to Kilmacow nest Sunday to take part in this special event. Everyone is invited to attend.

Physiotherapy ClasseS - A physiotherapist from Siel Bleu Ireland is interested in holding classes in the Community Centre in Kilmacow which should be of benefit to participants who wish to improve their anatomy. posture and deal with injuries. The classes are open to men and women. Please contact members of the committee of the Kilmacow Guild of the ICA for more details.

Care to Drive - Care to Drive is a volunteer delivered transport initiative in which the Irish Cancer Society recruits and trains volunteer drivers to transport cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy treatment to and from hospital. As part of this initiative volunteers are required to drive patients to and from the Regional Hospital at WaterfordThe service is free to the patient and to the hospital with the Irish Cancer Society incurring all the costs. Volunteers use their own cars and the Irish Cancer Society pays drivers for fuel and tolls and offers €8 per trip for the receipted cost of food/drink.
