Thomastown: Mission a great success

Parish Mission - The Parish Mission came to a conclusion last weekend and proved to be very successful with huge numbers attending. Local Lotto - €2,850 Jackpot was not won. 5 X €35 winners were - Billy Brennan Hugginstown, Jack & Rebecca Kerins Mong, Shem Kelly Maudlin Street, Chrissie O Mahony Jerpoint West and Lesley Murphy.

Table Quiz - A Table Quiz will be held on Thursday 25th October in aid of The Irish Wheelchair Association, South Kilkenny Branch in The Longman of Kilfane at 9pm. Quiz Master will be Joe Dunphy, table of 4 €20, with raffle and spot prizes. Please support this very worthy cause.

Would you like to volunteer once a week - Kilkenny & Carlow Contact is a community based Befriending & Support Organisation for Older People Living Alone. We are looking for additional volunteers to commit to one hour per week to befriend /visit older people who live alone in your area. All you need is to be kind, caring and have good listening skills but full training given.
