Community Games SUCCESS - Congratulations to  Aine Ryan (Shot Putt), Paddy Heffernan (Shot Putt), Aoife Moore (Hurdles) and Michael Prendergast (100M) who represented Kilkenny and Skeoughvosteen in their chosen sports at the National Finals in Athlone.  Everyone thouroughly enjoyed the event.  Hopefully next year will see more members will get to the finals and possibly take home a medal.

Chess - Darko Polimac will again give 10 chess lessons in Tom Walsh Park, starting on Wednesday 19th of September between 7 and 8pm. Numbers are limited so phone or text Fiona Dowling to book your child’s place. 

New Arrival - Congratulations to Peter ‘Chap’ and Brenda Cleere on the birth of their third daughter Holly last Wednesday. Holly weighed in at 8 lbs 5 ounces and is doing great. Best wishes to you both

Junior Championship - Best of luck to the Blacks and Whites junior hurlers who take on Cloneen in the first round of the championship this Sunday. The game goes ahead in Clara at 1pm so come along and support the lads on the day!
