Under 21’s- Commiserations to Richie Mulrooney(manager) and Ollie Walsh, Cillian Buckley, Martin Gaffney, David Glynn and Danny Kenny who were on the Kilkenny under 21 panel who were defeated last weekend in the All Ireland Under 21 Hurling Final against Clare. Even in defeat it still a great honour to each of them, their families and their club to have been chosen to represent their county at the highest level at under 21 grade.

Minor’s- The last weekend of September will not only be an important weekend for Kilkenny hurling as the county senior team await the replay of their All Ireland final against Galway, but the day before, the ‘Boro minors are currently scheduled to take on St. Lachtain’s, who are this year’s league champions, in the semi final of the Roinn ‘A’ Championship. This is as a result of their powerhouse performance on Sunday last in their game against Graigue/Ballycallan. Playing against a strong wind in the first half, the ‘Boro lads still managed to go in at HT leading by 1-8 to 1-4 despite not playing to their full potential. The second half was all so different as we took control all over the field, holding Graigue to 0-2 in the second half, while we were scoring freely. FT Dicksboro 3-18 Graigue/Ballycallan 1-6. Panel: Darragh Holohan, Conor Doheny, Evan Cody, Thomas Carroll, Dylan Scott, Rory Glynn, Corey Cahill, Enda O’Donoghue, Robbie Fitzpatrick, Eoin Fennelly, Eoin Gough, Stephen Farrell, Shane O’Brien, Kevin Kenny, Paddy Cahill, Jamie Byrne, Andrew Gaffney, Marc Cudmore, Jason Carroll.
