DVD’S FOR SALE: There is a limited number of DVD’s of the three Intermediate Hurling Finals that Clara won this year, anybody interested in these can contact Trevor (085 1079791) for more details.

UPCOMING TRAINING COURSES: The following course is coming up in the near future for all trainers: 23rd of March ABC (Agility, Balance, Coordination) Course will take place in the GAA Grounds. Anybody interested in this course please contact Eamonn (087 6383022) for more details.

CLARA NATIONAL SCHOOL - Fresh from their Intermediate hurling victory, Clara are in another All Ireland. This time it’s the Under 11 Quiz Team, representing St. Colmans Clara National School. The team of Brandon Ryan, Isabel Brennan, Nick O’ Keeffe and Rachel O’ Sullivan have qualified for the National Final of the Credit Union Quiz. the Clara team emerged winners after a nail-biting tie breaker in the South Leinster regional round of the quiz held in the Newpark Hotel last Sunday. The final takes place on the 7th of April in the RDS, Dublin.

Clara N.S. Parents Association are holding a meeting in the school this Wednesday at 7.30pm. All are welcome.

CONGRATULATIONS - To Kilkenny CBS and to Kevin Galvin, who is a member of the panel, on winning the Leinster Senior Hurling title in Nowlan Park on Sunday against near rivals St. Kierans College. In a hard fought game they won on a scoreline of 2-9 to 1-7. CBS advance to the All-Ireland semi- final and St. Kierans advance to the quarter final, best of luck to Christopher Bolger who is a member of the St. Kierans panel.

AFTERNOON TEA DANCE - Tullaroan Community Cente are holding a Fund-raising Afternoon Tea Dance on Sunday March 10th, 3 - 6 p.m. Music by CHECKERS. Admission 10.00 includes Tea,cakes, hot and cold finger food, and raffle.
