ANNUAL RACE

ANNUAL RACE

The BEAM Annual Three Counties Cycle and Family Fun Cycle took place on Sunday, Sept. 27 and was a huge success. The organisers are very grateful to the countless volunteers, Gardai, Order of Malta, Civil Defence, local Fire Brigade, motorcyclists who provided the support on the 100km route, the Woodstock Arms in Inistioge, Cody’s Bar in Glynn, O’Shea’s in Borris who provided use of their premises for refreshments for the cyclists and also the sponsors who supplied food and drinks. They appreciate the work done before the Cycle by the staff in BEAM and the cycle committee and would also like to thank the Mt. Leinster Wheelers who teamed up with the cyclists this year. Congratulations to the lucky winners of the luxury hamper – Brian Moran, Myshall and Catherine Southern, Russelstown. Special thanks to all the cyclists who took part in the three cycles. Funds raised will benefit BEAM who will continue to develop the services they provide for their members.
