Dungarvan - Spring meeting for Tidy Towns

Meeting - The long,dreary windy,wet month of January with all its bugs,viruses, and sore throaths has passed. Spring,with all the promises of new growth, longer evenings and milder weather must lift our hearts and stir us into a positive frame of mind.

The Dungarvan Development and Tidy Towns Committee will meet on Monday February 11th at 8pm to discuss plans for the future development of amenities in the village. This group has the best interest of the village and all its residents at the heart of all their efforts and are completely open to suggestions and ideas from any member of the community.

DUNGARVAN CARDS - This weekly card game is thriving and hopefully will continue to do so.

Last Thursday two pairs shared the prizemoney with 11 games each.They

are ; Sam & Lar Gibbons, Michael Phelan / Tom Drennan. Table Prize

went to ; Toddy Skehan / Rose Hayes. The Jackpot now stands at E 250.
