Clogh/Moonenroe -

REVITALISATION OF FAS BOARD - The AGM of the Board of Directors of the local CES Scheme saw some resignations and indications of new members to be nominated by sponsor groups. These will be ratified at the next meeting of the board. The meeting was very positive and a number of draft proposals have been put in place. The matter of sponsors failing to meet their financial commitments to the scheme was highlighted. This situation will no longer be accepted and action against defaulters will be taken even to the point of withdrawing workers from the relevant sponsoring group.
