ST VINCENT DE PAUL COLLECTION

The local branch of St. Vincent de Paul will hold a church gate collection after all masses next weekend, 29th and 30th June. All support will be greatly appreciated.

ICE CREAM FUN-DAY

The Brothers of Charity will host an ice cream fun-day party in the Community Centre, Kilmacow from 10.30am to 1.00pm on Wednesday, 26th June. A donation of €2.50 will be collected per ice cream and this money will go to Down Syndrome, Ireland. Other attractions include music and face painting. All support welcome.

ICA OUTING

The annual ICA outing will take place on the 10th July. The Japanese Gardens, National Stud and Newbridge Silverware are included in this year’s tour. Please contact any member of the ICA for further information.

SENIOR CITIZENS OUTING

The annual outing for senior citizens will take place on the 27th August. This year’s tour will include a visit to the Chocolate Factory in Carlow. Please contact Pat Doody, Molum or Betty Walsh, Newtown for further information.

UNDER 9s IN ACTION

U9 v Kilmacud Crokes - on a very windy Sunday morning 23rd June last, Kilmacud Crokes from South Dublin travelled to the Sports Complex to play our U9 hurlers. We had 18 of our best hurlers line out in two excellent games, in which the standard was very good. Thanks to the players, mentors, supporters and parents, and especially to those who helped with the catering on the day. Those who did their club and parish proud were Nick Cass, Robbie Corcoran, Daragh Kelly, Josh Mate, Ciaran Murray, Jack O’Neill, James Walsh, Fionn Walsh, Donnacdha Williams, Sean Dowling, David Williams, Calum Regan, Lorcan Suffin, Tom Reddy, Gearoid Long, Keelin Roche, Jack Tynan and Jack Butler.

SCRAP METAL COLLECTION

Kilmacow Hurling and Football Club is organising a scrap metal collection between 10am and 4.00pm on Saturday, 29th June. Those who have scrap metal can leave it into the Creamery

The club would like to acknowledge the support received for the Piltown Draw tickets. The club would like to remind those with membership outstanding for 2013 that fees are now due.

CEMETERY MASS

The annual cemetery mass will be held at St. Senan’s Church at 7,30pm on Friday, 5th July.
