WATER SAFETY

The annual classes in swimming and water safety will take place this year between the 30th June and July 6th. The classes will as usual be the BOYS SANDEE. Sunday classes will have a 3pm start with the evening classes commencing at 7pm. Full details are available from 086 3970818.

BROWNBREAD.

Not the homemade type that mammy used to bake but a special helping by the local drama group SPARK PRODUCTIONS. The talented group will be staging their very funny production of BROWNBREAD in the Watergate Theatre Kilkenny this Thursday 20th June Curtain up at 8pm and those that missed it when it was staged at the Abbey Hall it is recommended that they now make the effort to enjoy a memorable performance.

LOTTO.

Last weeks numbers were 5,9,11 & 23. The £10,000 jackpot wasnt won and so will be up for grabs. The reserve jackpot is now worth £1,600. Consolation winners were Kitty Tobin. Mary Doyle. Robbie Carroll. Brigid Hayes and Paula Mahon.

Duiske College

The allocation of funds by the Department of Education and Skills for the provision of extra accomodation has been welcomed by the School. This will be a tremendous boost to the college who thanks to the skills and dedication of the staff keep the institute of learning in the forefront of educational needs. The College is also pleased to announc that the following courses are available BUSINESS LEVEL 5 AND 6. ART, CRAFT AND DESIGN LEVEL 5 AND ART AND DESIGN LEVEL 6. Succesful graduates of level 6 will be eligible to progress Year 2 of Business degree at Waterford IT and year I of Business degree with exemption at Carlow IT.
