Minor Hurling-What was to be our preliminary round Championship match against Kilmacow last week turned into farce when the opposition failed to turn up without notice. The referee, ‘Boro panel, mentors and supporters had travelled to Mullinavat but all were left bemused with the lack of an opposition. In the end the referee threw in the sliothar with only one team on the field, the ‘’Boro duly scored a goal to secure the game. Meanwhile our Minor Roinn ‘C’ team went out of the championship when they came up against a superior Carrickshock side in Dunnamaggan last Friday.
