The second half saw O’Loughlins take control of the game at midfield and this allowed their forwards a platform to display all of their undoubted skills. The inter-play of Jordan Molloy, Ronan Buckley, Ian Clifford and Jamie Ryan was of the highest order and they went on to record a 6-7 to 4-2 victory.

This is the 4th year in succession that O’Loughlins have captured the league crown, and attentions now turn to the Football Championship, where they will meet Dicksboro in the Semi-Final.

All of the boys performed excellently in difficult conditions and everyone in O’Loughlins can be extremely proud of the way they went about their business in securing the first silverware for 2013.

There are plenty of parents of new juvenile camogie players and hurlers who are also encouraged to come to this social occasion which promises to be a spectacular social event. Indeed a big emphasis this year is on getting the newer members of the club more involved in all aspects of the Club. This social night is a brilliant way of friends, neighbours and supporters of O’Loughlin Gaels to join together and celebrate together the great club they enjoy.

Over two hundred people attended the last event held at the club which was to celebrate the club’s first Feile na nGael victory in 2010 when the special guest was Micheal O Muirchearthaigh. That was a brilliant night and if you missed it make sure you do not miss this one . It will be great !
