Tullaroan Hurling Club:
A DVD which was complied by the late Dan Grace and produced by his wife Breda Grace is on sale. It is available in Delaney’s Shop, Connolly Lounge, and from Dick Walshe, The Village phone 0879212667. It features presentations of medals to U16’s, minor and junior winners of the 1983 championships along with presentations of certificates to 1932, 1948 and 1958 Senior County final winners. It also features the Sam Melbourne collection of medals with interviews by May Hogan and features the late Tom Ryall. Included in the DVD are interviews by Jim Maher NT with Sean Clohosey, Dick Teehan, Dan Hogan Kilmanagh, Jack Egan and Jim Murphy of the Commons. Price €10 for one DVD and €15 euro for two DVDs
Kilkenny to Bennettsbridge
Nore Valley Walk,Sunday 18th August in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
Walk starts at picnic tables in Maudlin Street (Bottom of hill near motor tax offices) at 11am sharp, Registration at 10.30am. €10 entrance fee which goes directly to the charity. There are also sponsorship cards available, contact 085 8107890 for a card.
Length: 11kms each way. Duration: 3.5 - 5 hours (both ways)
Option to go one way - lifts will be arranged back to Kilkenny.

As you attend to the graves please take care and bring home any refuse. Mass will be celebrated there on 15th August (Weather Permitting). Time will be announced later.
The Tullaroan senior hurling team overcame St. Lactain’s, Freshford in the second semi final of the Tom Hogan Cup. The final will take place between Graigue Ballycallan and Tullaroan on Sunday 11th August in the Tullaroan sports grounds.
Spin And Win:

Parish Pastoral Council
The council will meet on Wednesday 7th August in the Parish House at 8pm.All members are asked to attend.
Anyone using the walkway at the sports grounds are invited to a meeting in the hurling club rooms on Wednesday 7th August at 8pm.
Tullaroan golf society had their outing at Tramore Golf Club on Saturday last. A three man scramble was played and was won by Liam Kenny, Mick Tobin and Noel Hughes. Second prize went to Brian Dillon, Tom Gaffeny and Mick Mullally.Noel Hughes won nearest the pin and longest drive to Eddie Carter. The longest drive was sponsored by John and Joan Connolly, Publicans, Tullaroan Village. The presentation of prized took place in Connolly’s on Saturday evening. The next outing is Capatin’s day in Gowran Golf Club on 7th September.
The Tullaroan U16 had a good win over Kilmacow in the first round of the championship held in Windgap on Wednesday evening last.
