MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE - The Lions Club, Carlow, launched Message in a Bottle recently. The bottle is a plastic one which is kept in the fridge. It is designed to contain all your medical details. This bottle would be a great asset to people who are on medication living alone or where there are two senior citizens. The person fills in details of all their medication, seals the bottle and places it in the fridge. Then they put a sticker on the fridge door and on the inside of their front door, so if at any time the medical services are called they will see the stickers and know to find the bottle in the fridge, thus saving time in getting the person to hospital. If you require one of these bottles or if you are a senior citizen needing a panic alarm, please contact a member of the Newtown Fenagh Nurney Senior Citizens committee or phone Maria Nolan 0872369031.
