Tullaroan: Welcomed home for Christmas

Hurling Club Christmas Raffle - The Tullaroan hurling club held their annual Christmas raffle last week and winners of hampers were 1st John Guinan, 2nd Mary Ryall, 3rd Mark O’Brien, €200 to Eddie Carter and Kitty Delaney, €50 to Ken Clohosey, Eddie Walsh and Paula de Paor, sellers prizes Tom Cleere, David Cleere and Donie Hogan. A big thanks to all who sold tickets and to those who supported the raffle.

Welcome Home - A big welcome to all those on holidays with their families in Tullaroan for the Christmas. There was a very large attendance at the Vigil Mass in the Church of the Assumption, where Rev. Patsy Guilfoyle P.P. thanked all for their held throughout 2012.

Annual General Meeting - The hurling club will hold their Annual General Meeting in the club rooms on Friday 11th January. All nominations for club officers for 2013 to be handed to the secretary Donie Hogan.

Christmas Concert- The D.V.D.’s of the very successful Christmas concert held in the Tullaroan community centre are now available for collection. Please contact Noreen on 0868249618,

Come Home to Tullaroan - A calender entitled ‘come home to Tullaroan’ with a D.V.D. by Dan Grace and featuring Michael ‘Muirchartaigh unveiling the 1984 plaque in the Village of Tullaroan is now available in the local shops or from Betty Payne, Breda Grace or Helen Lanigan.

Whist Drive - First whist drive of the new year in aid of st Brigid’s camogie club will take place this Friday night 4th January in Palmerstown venue commencing at 8.30pm. all are welcome.
