Kilmacow- Kilmacow Under 10 hurlers win

Under 10 Win-Our U10 hurlers played their second Kilkenny U10 Go Games match against Cloneen in the Kilmacow Sports Complex last Wednesday.

Under 10 Win-Our U10 hurlers played their second Kilkenny U10 Go Games match against Cloneen in the Kilmacow Sports Complex last Wednesday.

The game was played in a great spirit with good skill in evidence from both teams.

Both sides were very committed and the game was played at a high tempo from start to finish.

Cloneen played with the aid of a strong breeze in the first half and our Kilmacow backs and midfield had to work hard to limit the Cloneen scoring chances.

A goal by Sean Dowling against the run of play left the minimum between the two sides at half time.

With the aid of the breeze in the second half our Kilmacow team was able to send more ball to the forwards who showed great skill in securing more scores in the second half.

Cloneen hurled resolutely throughout the second half but the ability of Kilmacow to bring on a full complement of substitutes gave the winning advantage to the home team.

A good evening of hurling was finished off by handshakes and smiles all round!
