Little South Run

Little South Run

Kilmacow Hospice Support Group would like to acknowledge with sincere thanks the recent presentation of a cheque, €2871.78, from St. Senan’s Athletics Club, Kilmacow. This was the amount raised from the Little South Run which was held in June. The group would like to express its gratitude to all in St. Senan’s Athletics Club for continuing to support the cause of the hospice for the 12th running of the Little South Run in which almost 300 people took part including

serious athletes, joggers and walkers. The success of the event is testament to the huge respect for the club from its sister clubs in Kilkenny and Waterford and from around the rest of the country.

Since it was first organised the Little South Run has generated €47,000 for the Hospice Movement. The presentation of this year’s cheque took place on the Sports Complex and it was most fitting that members of the juvenile section of the club were present when the presentation was made.
