Some club winners in Piltown draw

GAA NOTES-Well after the shock defeat to Galway in the Leinester senior Final last Sunday week it was back to club action last weekend. The Intermediate league championship resumed last weekend with a crunch tie in Windgap between Mullinavat and Callan, and after the terrible weather we have suffered in the last couple of weeks it was touch and go whether the game would go ahead at the venue. To the credit of the Windgap club they had their facilities in excellent condition for the game. This was a bottom of the table clash and the winners would move up to mid table with a win after the defeat of Glenmore by Clara in Mullinavat on Friday night. See full match report in People Sport.
