UNDER 13

St. Paul’s 2 Kilmacow 2

This was a good, tight match. While our boys are disappointed at not bringing home all three points, a point away from home is never a bad result. The lads started well and were soon in the lead. Following good work from Colm Dolan and Darragh Mc Donald the ball broke for Dean Scully to score. The home side got back in the game and enjoyed good possession at times. .They equalised to leave the score 1-1 at half time. Our lads regained the lead with a lovely goal. Paul Hennessy did well at the back and sent Keith Butler clear on the left wing. Keith outpaced his opponent and sent in a lovely cross for Dean to score his second goal of the match. St. Paul’s equalised for the second time. The game was there to be won but both sides had to settle for a point.
