For girls who wish to play Under 6 Camogie later this year please note that all must have started primary school on or before Aug/September 2012. Please Forward any remaining 2013 membership and Insurance to any club member. Primary School €20 Secondary School/Third Level €30, Adult €40.

FINAL - Well done to the Rower-Inistioge Camogie team who won the Intermediate All Ireland Club Semi-Final ,They had a dream start and went on to defeat Kilmaley. Co Clare on a score of 2-9 to 1-5. They now meet Castlegar (Co.Galway) So training resumes!! The Club Final is fixed for the weekend of March 2nd/3rd. The Club would like to thank all supporters who came to Nowlan park last Sunday to cheer on the girls. Date and Venue still TBC.

INISTIOGE COMMUNITY COUNCIL AGM - The AGM of Inistioge Community Council takes place in the Cois Abhann centre on Wednesday 20th February at 8pm. All are welcome to attend.

BOOTCAMP FITNESS CLASSES - Stephen Cody of Cody Fitness will hold Bootcamp classes in Inistioge twice per week for a total of 4 weeks. The classes will begin on March 4th and will take place every Monday and Wednesday evening from 8.30-9.30pm. The cost of these eight classes is €40, working out at €5 per class. The Hope Cancer Support Centre is hosting a public talk on grief and loss in the Riverside Park Hotel on Feb 26th at 7.30pm. The guest speaker is well-known author Christy Keneally. This is a free evening, open to anyone affected by loss of any kind. For further details please 053 9238555.

STOTT PILATES FOR BEGINNERS - A four week course in stott pilates for strenghtening and toning is being run in Cois Abhainn every Tuesday from 19th February to 12th March from 6:30 to 7:30pm. BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT - Kilkenny Bereavement Support will hold “A Healing Group” for people who have been bereaved by suicide for at least six months. This group will meet for six weeks in a row. This year the meetings will take place in Villa Maria, Talbots Inch, Kilkenny commencing on Tuesday 19th February at 8.00pm and will continue on the following Tuesday nights.

The aims of the group are to help the participants to explore their loss in a safe environment, to help them feel comfortable in understanding their grief which may involve isolation, stigma, guilt or blame. It will also provide opportunities to meet and share with others who have had similar experiences, to discuss coping strategies, to identify feelings and to remember the deceased .If you want to know more about this group, please phone 056-7756538 or 087-9610334.
